North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix series
A series of 5 races in May & June jointly organised by Spectrum Striders Running Club and Altrincham & District AC. The races are:
Dunham Massey 5k (twice), Hollins Green 5k, Bowdon 5k, Lymm 5k.
Note that the correct date for the Bowdon 5k is Thu 6-Jun.

Sat 1-Jun-2013 at 4:30pm (fun run 5:15pm)
This 5k road race is in memory of Peter Lowe, a club member who was killed in a road accident while out running nearby.  The race was first run in 2002 and is part of the North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix.

Sat 22-Jun-2013 at 4:30pm (fun run 5:15pm)
This 5k road race starts & finishes near the Cherry Tree Primary School in Lymm.  Tea & cake afterwards!  The race was first run in 2003 and is part of the North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix.

Wed 3-Jul-2013 at 7:30pm
Ladies-only race on a traffic-free course on paths through parkland.  Fairly flat, with just two small hills approaching footbridges, one of which the route crosses.

Sun 18-Aug-2013 at 10:30am (fun run 9:45am)
The race has been run each year from 1984, in the top 100 UK road races by Runner's World in 2003 & 2004.  Also a Fun Run of 2k, on traffic-free course.
The race reached its entry limit in 2012.  There are no entries on the day.

Sat 20-Jul-2013 at 4pm (fun run 5pm)
This race is organised by Burtonwood Bridge ARLFC, assisted by Spectrum Striders RC.  Free burger or hot dog for all finishers.
