North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix series
A series of 5 races in May & June jointly organised by Spectrum Striders Running Club and Altrincham & District AC.  The races are: Dunham Massey 5k (twice), Hollins Green 5k, Bowdon 5k, Lymm 5k.

Sat 2-Jun-2012 at 4:30pm (fun run 5:15pm)
This 5k road race is in memory of Peter Lowe, a club member who was killed in a road accident while out running nearby.  The race was first run in 2002 and is part of the North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix

Sat 23-Jun-2012 at 4:30pm (fun run 5pm)  [provisional date]
This 5k road race starts & finishes near the Cherry Tree Primary School in Lymm.  The race was first run in 2003 and is part of the North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix.

Wed 4-Jul-2012 at 7:30pm
Our ladies-only race is on an accurately measured traffic-free course on paths through parkland.  It is fairly flat, with just two small hills approaching footbridges, one of which the route crosses.

Sun 19-Aug-2012 at 10:30am (fun run 9:45am)
The Birchwood 10k has been run each year from 1984, ranking in the top 100 UK road races by Runners World magazine in 2003 and 2004.  We also organise a Fun Run of about 2k, on a traffic-free course.

Entries will open soon.  No entry on the day for 2012.

Sun 21-Jul-2012 at 4pm
This race is organised by Burtonwood Bridge ARLFC, assisted by Spectrum Striders RC.  There is a fun run of about 1.8 miles at 5pm.  Free burger or hot dog for all finishers.
