Peter Lowe Memorial Hollins Green 5k Road Race
Sat 5-Jun-2010 at 4:30pm.  The race is named after Peter Lowe, a club member who was killed in a road accident whilst out running nearby in January 2002.  This race (accurately measured 5k road course, run under UKA Rules), is part of the North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix.  Entries are now being accepted for this race.

Lymm 5k Road Race
Sat 26-Jun-2010 at 3:30pm (fun run 4pm).  This accurately measured 5k race is part of the North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix. It starts and finishes close to the Cherry Tree Primary School in Lymm.  Prizes awarded to: 1st three finishers, men’s & women’s teams and Vet categories.  Entries are now being accepted for this race.

North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix series
A series of 5 races in May & June organised by Spectrum Striders Running Club and Altrincham & District AC.  The races are: Dunham Massey 5k (twice), Hollins Green 5k, Bowdon 5k, Lymm 5k.  You get 5 races for the price of 4.  Entries are now being accepted for the series.

Forest Park Ladies 5k Race
Wed 7-Jul-2010 at 7:30pm.  Our popular ladies-only race is on an accurately measured traffic-free course on good paths through parkland.  It is fairly flat, with just two small hills approaching footbridges, one of which the route crosses.  Entries are now being accepted for this race.

Birchwood 10k Road Race
Sun 22-Aug-2010 at 10:30am (fun run 9:45am).  The Birchwood 10k has been run each year from 1984, ranking in the top 100 UK road races by Runners World magazine in 2003 and 2004.  We also organise a Fun Run of about 2k, on a traffic-free course.  Entries are now being accepted for this race.

Burtonwood 5 Mile Road Race
Sun 17-Jul-2010 at 4pm.  The Burtonwood 5 Mile road race is organised by Burtonwood Bridge ARLFC, assisted by Spectrum Striders.  There is a fun run of about 1.8 miles at 5pm.  Free burger or hot dog for all finishers.  Entries are now being accepted for this race.
