2012 Race information

For 2012, the organisation of this race was transferred from West Cheshire AC to Active Leisure Events, the company who organised the 2011 Chester Marathon.

Course:  It was a new course which starts at the Roodee racecourse and finishes outside the Town Hall and Cathedral.

Parking:  Due to heavy rain in the days leading up to the race, there was no parking on the Chester Racecourse.  You can park in the commercial car parks in the City.

Entry fee:  £24 for club runners.  Please note that in previous years this race has usually filled up well before the race day. but for 2012 the race limit has been increased to 5000.  [The race reached its entry limit of 5000 in advance of race day.]
