Race HQ: Partington Leisure Centre, Chapel Lane, Partington, M31 4ES.
Entry fee: £11 for club runners (less £1 if you don't want a medal!), closing date 6-Mar-2012, race limit 800 entries. Both on-line and postal entry are available.

Caroline took over 30 sec off Gill Demet's record of 41:57 which had stood since the Chester Zoo 10k in November 1993. In contrast, Anne took 2½ mins off Christine's new record which had stood for 1 week.

This race was rescheduled from its original date due to the heavy overnight snowfall on Sunday 21-Feb. Due to the rearrangement, it clashed with two other races so was not in the Striders club championship.
