Well done to everyone who completed the race on a seriously wet, windy and cold day.

4452 finishers, last finisher in 7:16:42.  Full results are available here.

Note that the age categories are in 10 year bands rather than the usual 5 years.  Also, their female vets start at age 40.

2012 race information

This is a new race for 2012.  It will be over a flat, closed roads course.  The start/finish will be in Longford Park in Stretford.

The time limit is 6 hour pace.  If you are running slower than this, roads will re-open and you will need to run on the pavement.

They have a target entry of 5000 in 2012, hoping to grow the event to 15000 eventually.  It is run by the sports events management company Xtra Mile Events. 

Entry fee:  £39 for club runners.
