Inter-club fell competition - rules

2013 series rules have not yet been agreed.

2012 series rules
- Up to 7 men and 3 women count for each club.
- Men score 21 points down to 1 point.
- Women score 21 points down to 13 points.
- 2 bonus points for every runner above the 7 men and 3 women.
- Bonus points in every M & W vet category - 5, 3, & 1.
- Vet categories are those used by the race organiser.
- 2nd claim members count in this league.
- Every runner scores points!

2013 Race #1 - The Druid fell race (nr Mold)

This is race 1 (of 3) in the 2013 inter-club fell race competition with Spectrum Striders RC, Helsby RC and Tattenhall Runners.

The rules have not yet been finalised as yet (in mid March) but are likely to be much the same as for 2012:

  • 7 men & 3 women from each Club to count.
  • Bonus points for all vet categories, even if you are not one of the 7 men or 3 women.
  • Extra bonus points for each runner above the 7 and 3.
  • 2nd claim members count

So do run if you can – everyone is a counting runner!

Category:  BS, 5 miles (8k), 1200ft (366m) climb

Race venue:  The Druid Inn, Ruthin Road, Llanferres, CH7 5SN.  About 5 miles west of Mold, on the A494 to Ruthin

Entry fee:  £4.00
