We are hoping to get several teams together to take part this year.   Details are not yet finalised for 2012 at time of writing (Jan 2012) but the date is confirmed.

Race information

This is a tough multi-terrain race of about 9 miles for teams of 3 runners, over road & trail.  The race is tough and includes the famous steep climb up a disused railway!

Rather than a relay, the idea is that the members of a team stay together.  The team's time is taken when the 3rd runner crosses the line.

Entry fee (2011):  £5 per runner.  You can enter on the day until 7pm, with a limit of 100 teams.

2011 race

There were 50 complete teams and 2 incomplete teams.  Most of the teams stayed together and 47 teams finished in around 90 mins or less.  Full results are on the Tattenhall Runners race web site.
