The Championships will be held at Pontefract Park racecourse, Pontefract, nr Wakefield.

Well done to the Striders who represented the club on a cold day over a muddy course at Herrington Country Park in Sunderland.

2010 Champs on Saturday 23-Jan-2010

The 2010 Championships were held at Witton Park in Blackburn. Full results are available on the Northern Athletics web site.  We also have some photos taken by Mick Charman.

Congratulations to Liz Whitfield.  Her finishing position earned her qualification to the Inter Counties x/c Championships, which is by qualification or selection only.

Race report from Julian:

"A pleasing turn out to run today.  Conditions were less muddy than they have been at Witton Park.  The run up the hill was tough (3 times for the ladies and 4 times for the men) but the run down was superb.  It was very still today with luckily no fog at the venue, although there was lots on the way there."
