ER - Experience required
NS - Navigational Skills Required
LK - Local Knowledge an advantage
PM - Course Partially Marked

Fell races

These are other races of interest to members.  "Club Supported" means it is a good race which lots of Striders run.  They are not part of the Club Championships but many Striders may do them.

Fell Running equipment

From the FRA Handbook:

Competitors should arrive at races prepared to carry any or all of the following equipment:

- Windproof whole body cover
- Other body cover appropriate for the weather conditions
- Map & compass suitable for navigating the course
- Whistle
- Emergency food (for long races)

(This equipment is mandatory in Category AL or AM races)
