Another big turnout of 33 Striders at Dunham for race 2.  Well done to our 4 category winners, Christine, Marian, Caroline and Colin.

Race information

The race was moved to Thursday in 2010 from its usual day in previous years to avoid clashing with a football World Cup match.

This race is organised by Altrincham & District AC and is race 4 in the North Cheshire 5k Grand Prix series.  Click here to go to the 5k Series page on this web site, where you can find entry forms for each individual race and an entry form for the whole series.

Race venue:  Dunham Massey Park, Charcoal Road, Dunham Town, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 4SJ.

There is free parking in the Dunham Massey National Trust visitor car park.  Race HQ including on-the-day entries (if available) & race enquiries is in the stables next to the House.  Toilets are available in the old stable bock adjacent to the House.

The start is in front of the House, the finish is across the other side of the park.

Entries tend to fill up early for this race.  In recent years the race has filled up before race day and there have been no entries on the day.  If you want to ensure you can run the race, please enter early.
