Alder Hey 5k fun run 7-Apr-2006

This was another in the series of occasional fun runs in the Birchwood Forest Park.  All proceeds will be donated to Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Thanks to everyone who took part. We have raised £548 so far with the entry money and the small charity donations that you have already given. I am expecting more later. Please get it to me by Easter so I can pay all the money into the bank and thence to Alder Hey ASAP.

In addition Gerald Jenkins has generously donated 3 bottles of wine to go to the 3 runners who have improved the most from the last fun run in November 2005. I will study the results but contact me if you think that you are potentially eligible.
