Cheshire Schools Championship
Runcorn, Sat 19th Jan 2002

Peter Burnett finished in an excellent 2nd place in the Senior Boys (U19) event at the Cheshire Schools Championship in Runcorn.

It was close for 2/3 of the race but winner Andy Ellis got away from Peter in the last mile. However, Peter was only 20 secs behing rather than the 40 secs in the Cheshire Championships. Peter will now go on to the Inter-Counties Schools Race at Frodsham and hopefully the English Schools at Cheltenham.
