nearly 2 minutes slower than he ran at Preston a few weeks ago. |

Conditions
were surprisingly benign for this cross county race. In previous years we have experienced snow, ice, & strong
winds or all 3. This year also was much less muddy than I expected.
The hill, however is as steep as ever.
Karon and Claire both wanted an extra lap as 2.5 laps gave them such a
short race they were only running for 15 to 17 minutes. We beat our local rivals
Warrington AC in both men's and ladies races although I accept that they did
have a poor turnout.
