Another excellent Striders event. Despite the lowest ever turn out, we had the benefit of a beautiful sunny evening. Thanks to Julian for sorting the handicaps –he managed 15 out of the 18 finishing within a minute of their estimated time this year – an unprecedented 83%.
Many thanks must also go to Tony Bell, Dave and Janet Redpath, Mary, Farina and Barbara Peers for sorting out the timing, finishing times and the positions. The presentation and the buffet in the Tennis Centre went well and the evening was finished off in style with a quiz from Martin Dugdale.
