British Fell Relay Championship

The venue was the beautiful Trough of Bowland at Fell foot, near Chipping but on this occasion it was hiding its charms under a blanket of cloud.

 

Teams consist of 6 runners covering 4 legs

 

Leg 1 pairs 8.25 miles/2900’

 

Leg 2 solo 4.5miles/1900’

 

Leg 3 pairs navigation approx 6.5 miles/1800’

 

Leg 4 solo 3.5 miles/1950’

 

We had two teams, a vets team and an open mixed team.

A load of Striders and friends ventured across the small pond to Amsterdam to race in one of the several races being held on Sunday 21st October in Amsterdam.
