Cheshire Cross Country Championship
County Qualification
- To compete in a County Championship, you need to have the normal county qualification of birth or 9 months continuous residence in the county and not to have competed for another county within the last 12 months. Most of our members live in Cheshire and meet the county qualification rules for Cheshire, but if you are a club member who qualifies for another county (most likely Greater Manchester or Merseyside), you should be able to compete as an individual in that county's event.
- Spectrum Striders Running Club is affiliated to Cheshire County AA which means that we can enter teams in Cheshire Championship events, provided that each member qualifies individually as above. A club can have more than one county affiliation and if there is sufficient interest amongst club members who qualify for other counties, we should also be able to affiliate to one or more other County Associations.
